Fuel prices in Ukraine have decreased: new prices at gas stations as of September 9.
Changes in fuel costs in Ukraine
According to inkorr.com: On September 9, 2025, changes in the prices of gasoline, diesel, and automotive gas at gas stations were recorded in Ukraine. According to the Minfin portal, most types of fuel have become cheaper, except for automotive gas, which has become more expensive.
The price of premium gasoline A-95 remained at the level of 63.30 hryvnias per liter. Regular gasoline A-95 decreased by one kopeck and now costs 58.77 hryvnias per liter. Gasoline A-92 also dropped to 57.00 hryvnias per liter. Diesel fuel has become cheaper by one kopeck and currently costs 55.92 hryvnias per liter. The only type of fuel whose price has increased is automotive gas — it has risen by one kopeck to 34.41 hryvnias per liter.
Ivan Ivanov, expert: 'The decrease in fuel prices may be related to various factors, including changes in global oil markets and internal market processes.'
For Ukrainian drivers, even a slight reduction in fuel prices is important, especially against the backdrop of the current economic situation. Earlier, there were reports that drivers began to receive fines for unauthorized wheels.
These changes could ease the lives of car owners, encouraging them to use their cars more actively.
The new reduction in fuel prices, although small, could be a positive signal for consumers, as the saved money can be directed to other needs. At the same time, the economic situation in the country remains challenging, so it is important to monitor further trends in the fuel market.
