According to Novyny.live: A sharp rise in fuel costs hit Kyiv on March 20, with gasoline and diesel prices climbing well above the regional averages for Kyiv Oblast. The price for A-95 gasoline increased by 3 hryvnias per liter, while diesel went up by 81 kopiykas.
According to data published on March 19, the average price for premium A-95 gasoline in Kyiv Oblast stood at 74.18 hryvnias per liter, while standard A-95 rose to 70.68 hryvnias per liter. At that time, diesel fuel was recorded at 79.49 hryvnias per liter, and autogas increased to 43.73 hryvnias per liter.
Gasoline Prices at Kyiv Stations
On March 20, the fuel market in Kyiv showed the following prices for gasoline:
- SOCAR: standard A-95 gasoline — 74.99 hryvnias per liter
- OKKO: Pulls 95 gasoline — 77.99 hryvnias per liter
- WOG: standard A-95 — 74.99 hryvnias per liter
- UPG: standard A-95 — 72.90 hryvnias per liter
The average diesel price across Kyiv Oblast remained at 79.49 hryvnias per liter, but within Kyiv’s retail networks, prices ranged from 82.90 to 87.99 hryvnias per liter. This creates a notable gap between the capital and the surrounding region, which could impact both consumers and drivers.
The recent fuel price hike in Kyiv may be driven by various factors, including fluctuations in global oil markets and rising logistics costs.
