Fuel prices will drop by 2 hryvnias: when to expect a decrease

According to inkorr.com: Expect a decrease in fuel prices! According to the latest estimates by experts, Ukrainian drivers can anticipate a drop in fuel prices of about 2 hryvnias per liter this autumn. This information was published by RBK-Ukraine.

Reasons for the price decrease

The main factor driving this trend is the situation on the international oil market. Over the past month, the price of Brent crude oil fluctuated between 66-69 dollars per barrel, while there is a surplus of fuel on the world market compared to demand.

Oil market expert Serhiy Sapiehin emphasizes that the decrease in fuel prices is inevitable given the oversupply compared to demand.

Experts' forecasts

Director of the 'A-95' company Serhiy Kuyun also predicts a decrease in gasoline prices by 1.5-2 hryvnias per liter, dismissing rumors about possible fuel price increases. He points to an effective supply system that prevents unjustified price hikes.

General Director of Prime Group Dmytro Leushkin notes that a decrease in market activity amid rising fuel prices could lead to their decline. It is expected that diesel fuel may also decrease in price by 1-2 hryvnias per liter.

The reduction in fuel costs will be gradual until November, but in December, this process is expected to halt ahead of the New Year and possible increases in excise taxes.

Thus, fuel prices may decrease in the coming months, which will be great news for Ukrainian car owners.

The announcement of a potential decrease in fuel prices this autumn speaks to a positive trend for drivers. The fall in fuel prices is due to the surplus on the international market, and experts predict a significant decrease in fuel costs in the coming months. This will bring relief to Ukrainian drivers who are hoping for reduced fuel expenses.
