According to Novyny.live: An examination of winter food prices in Odesa's markets reveals that vegetable costs remain elevated, driven by complex supply chains and greenhouse cultivation. Items like potatoes, onions, cabbage, and dairy products are currently in highest demand. As of today, specific prices include:
- Zucchini, eggplant, and bell peppers – 250 hryvnias per kilogram;
- Young carrots – approximately 300 hryvnias per kilogram;
- Young cabbage – 150 hryvnias per kilogram;
- Cucumbers – from 200 to 400 hryvnias per kilogram.
In the fruit section, Fuji apples dominate at 80 hryvnias per kilogram, while mandarins range from 100 to 130 hryvnias. According to vendor Iryna, a new shipment of Israeli mandarins has arrived, priced at 220 hryvnias per kilogram and noted for their excellent taste. Greek strawberries can reach 700 hryvnias per kilogram, while Peruvian cherries may cost up to 1,800 hryvnias. These prices reflect the challenges of importing out-of-season produce to Ukraine during winter.

Stuffed turkey neck sells for 350 hryvnias per kilogram, with sausages at a similar price point. Vendor Valentyna reported that prices for roasted and smoked meats fluctuate around 450 hryvnias per kilogram.
