Ukrainian men aged 18-22 will be allowed to travel abroad: new requirements.
New requirements for Ukrainian men aged 18-22 to travel abroad
According to inkorr.com: Men aged 18 to 22 need to have a military ticket in paper or electronic form to travel abroad. This was confirmed by the representative of the State Border Guard Service, Colonel Andriy Demchenko.
Recently, the government approved changes to the border crossing rules developed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. According to Demchenko, this decision is not yet official, so final conclusions will only be known after it is published on the state portal.
According to official information, after the changes are implemented, Ukrainian men aged 18-22 will be able to travel abroad even during martial law.
Demchenko also noted that for a successful border crossing, it is necessary to have not only a passport but also a military ticket (both in paper and electronic form). Border guards will start allowing this category of citizens to cross after the changes are published and come into effect.
With the new rules, Ukrainian men aged 18-21 will gain the opportunity to travel abroad, while 22-year-olds will face certain restrictions.
Thus, the new requirements for Ukrainian men aged 18 to 22 to travel abroad include the need for a military ticket, in paper or electronic form, in addition to a passport. This decision has not yet come into effect, but after its implementation, Ukrainians will be able to travel abroad even in conditions of martial law.
These changes create new opportunities for young men as they allow for travel despite wartime circumstances. With the actualization of the law and its publication, they will be awaiting an important stage in their lives, as not everyone will be able to exercise this right due to age restrictions. Thus, the situation will require further attention from society and the state.
