The 47-year-old Soutar is currently ranked 53rd in the world, but also has a steady job when he is not traveling to play.

On Sunday, he posted a photo from his fire station on his social media, posing in uniform in front of a fire truck.
“Two fantastic exhibition matches over the weekend. Both crowds were amazing, thank you for the support! What a team I have by my side. Now I’m back to my real job.”
Soutar played exhibition matches in Aberdeen and Arbroath over the weekend. He is no stranger to the world of darts, as he won his first PDC title last year.

Soutar defeated Daryl Gurney 8-7 in the final of Players Championship 11 in Germany, marking his first major achievement. Earlier this year, he also drew attention again by hitting a nine-darter against young player Luke Littler.
