Ex-Chelsea player David Luiz sues woman over threats allegations.
Seizure of the social worker's phone
According to The Sun: Brazilian police seized the phone of a social worker who claims that footballer David Luiz threatened her after she refused to participate in a threesome.
Law enforcement officials, acting on a court order, took the device from the 38-year-old footballer, currently a player of "Fortaleza", who is suing Franciska Caroline Barbosa Cavalcanti for defamation and slander.

However, Franciska's lawyer, Fabiano Tavora, told local media that the mobile phone was not seized during the search of her home.
He explained: “Caroline voluntarily handed over her phone for examination to the police in Fortaleza.”
“If there was a court order for the search and seizure of the phone, it was obtained without hearing the other side.”
“In any case, I am not surprised that David Luiz may take legal or extra-judicial actions to conclude this case.”
Conflict between Luiz and Cavalcanti
The conflict arose last month when Ms. Cavalcanti reported to the police about threats from Luiz after their relationship ended. The court prohibited the Brazilian international from approaching her, as she stated that she had declined his invitation to participate in a threesome, which escalated the conflict.
Screen shots that Luiz claims demonstrate his threats about “money and power” contain one message that allegedly threatens her son, saying that he could “pay for the consequences.”
“I can just make you disappear.”
Cavalcanti also claims that Luiz offered her 14 thousand pounds to keep silent after her testimony.
According to local media reports, Luiz met the social worker online and invited her to stay in a hotel room in Fortaleza.
The former Chelsea defender strongly denies all allegations.
In a statement from his lawyer, it was stated that he never met his accuser, although he acknowledges that he briefly communicated with her online.
They also emphasized that there is no evidence of their stay at the Magna Praia hotel in Fortaleza, adding: “David Luiz confirms his commitment to the truth and believes that the facts will be properly clarified.”

Luiz's lawyer confirmed that he requested the seizure of Cavalcanti's phone but emphasized that he cannot comment on this due to a confidentiality court order.
Tavora, for his part, noted that he is “not surprised” to see legal or extra-judicial actions from David Luiz to conclude this case.
