DBR exposed a corruption scheme in Odesa: doctors sold deferments from mobilization.
According to inkorr.com: DBR employees exposed and blocked an attempt to undermine mobilization in Odesa, related to the activities of the commission of doctors of the Primorsky RTC and SP. Doctors issued 'fake' conclusions about passing the military-medical commission without the actual presence of conscripts, which allowed them to illegally obtain a deferment from service.
Organization of the corruption scheme
According to the investigation, members of the VLK had prior 'paid' agreements with participants of the corruption scheme, which had already been exposed by DBR employees earlier. A local resident, an employee of the Ministry of Defense's Service Activity Support Center and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, an employee of the Primorsky RTC and SP, and others offered to avoid service for 16 thousand dollars. Indictments have already been sent to court.
Four members of the VLK have been informed of suspicions regarding service forgery committed by a group of people in collusion. The issue of their suspension from office is being resolved. According to part 2 of article 28 part 1 of article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, punishment of up to three years of restriction of freedom is provided.
DBR discovered and prevented an attempt to undermine mobilization in Odesa through the issuance of 'fake' military-medical conclusions. Criminals planned to illegally obtain a deferment from service for a certain fee. Employees involved in the corruption scheme have already been declared suspects and are awaiting a court decision.
This situation highlights serious threats to the country’s defense capabilities associated with corrupt practices in the military sector. DBR actively responds to violations, which will help maintain justice and ensure proper control over conscription.
