According to The Sun: Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips traveled from London to participate in the Carabao Cup, nearly immediately after the birth of his second child.

The 29-year-old player played his first official match for City in 645 days on Wednesday.

Phillips took the field in the match against Huddersfield during the Carabao Cup, where he played seven minutes — this was his first appearance of the season.

After the match, coach Pep Guardiola revealed that Phillips arrived in Huddersfield after the birth of his child on Tuesday.
