Gas deficit in February threatens heating supply: what the expert says

According to ТСН: In Ukraine, serious problems with heating supply may arise in February due to a lack of gas, especially under conditions of frost and continued attacks from Russia.

Energy expert Yuriy Korolchuk noted:

"The gas problem has been postponed because November-December were conditionally warm, and we significantly saved gas. The gas deficit is a problem that was expected in mid-January; it has shifted to early February. That is when more severe heating supply issues will manifest, if the strikes continue, if the cold is significant,"

There is also a gas deficit in Europe, and in emergency situations, only a limited amount of gas can be obtained.

Recall that in conditions of severe frosts, when the radiators are barely warm, it is worth paying attention to the experience of Canadians, who endure real Arctic winters every year and feel comfortable at the same time. They have developed simple yet effective heat rules that are easy to apply anywhere.

In recent years, the issue of heating supply in Ukraine has become particularly relevant, and with the approach of winter, it is essential to consider that a sufficient amount of gas is critically important for ensuring the comfort of the population. Therefore, recommendations for saving heat, drawn from international experience, may be useful to many Ukrainians in the coming months.
