Courier left an offensive note on the McDonald's package: what happened.
According to The Sun: The "disgusting" message the courier left on the McDonald's order package has caused outrage.
When we enjoy a Big Mac and fries, the last thing we want is an unpleasant riddle on our food package.
An offensive comment was left on the McDonald's delivery package, surprising many people.
Fortunately, an image of this outrageous package appeared on Instagram with the caption: “I am speechless.”
The driver wrote a disgusting riddle:
“What do a courier and a gynecologist have in common? We can both smell it, but we can't eat it.”
The post was captioned: “I just wanted McDonald's, bro.”
Social media users actively commented on the situation. One of them remarked:
“And why do men wonder why women want to be left alone…”
“You order food and get a message on the package that hints at the courier's personal preferences. This is terrible! If you are a straight man and don’t agree with this, do you want your order to be accompanied by hints at sexual proposals?”
Another user added:
“Why do you give this a platform?”
Yet another commentator wrote:
“No, I would report this!”
“Disgusting!” exclaimed another.
A fifth person remarked:
“What a terrible person did this!”
The Sun editorial team reached out to DoorDash for a comment, but has not yet received a response.
McDonald's significantly changed its loyalty program
In the meantime, McDonald's customers have been dissatisfied with the significant changes in the company's loyalty program.
A study conducted by The Sun showed that the price of a Big Mac can be up to 30% lower in restaurants located just two miles apart.
You can get a Big Mac and fries for just £2.99 by filling out the feedback form included on the McDonald's receipt.
The receipt will contain a 12-digit code that should be entered on the Food for Thought website along with your feedback form.
Then you will receive a 5-digit code that is your voucher for the £2.99 offer.
Some promotions are available only through the My McDonald's app, so it's worth signing up to receive food discounts.
The MyMcDonald’s app is available for iPhone and Android, and it is easy to set up.
Additionally, you can receive free gifts and discounts on your birthday if you use the My McDonald's app.
The chain recently sent a reminder to app users to fill out their birthday details, or they might miss out on celebratory offers.
Users noticed that the number of points required to earn rewards has changed.
The discussion heated up on Facebook after one user noticed that now 5,500 points are needed to exchange for a Big Mac.
Presenting a screenshot of their app with the loyalty program, an unhappy customer wrote: “Maccies changed their reward system; now Big Macs are at 5,500 points, whereas before they were in the 4,000-point section.”
Popular McDonald's dessert removed from sale
This happened after Maccies removed the popular item just a few days after it appeared on the menu.
The new Caramel Loaded McFlurry was added to the menu on September 10, when the annual Monopoly game also started.
However, a McDonald's spokesperson confirmed that the dessert was quickly removed due to a "quality control issue."
The Caramel Loaded McFlurry cost £2.49 and consisted of caramel cubes, chocolate biscuit pieces, milk chocolate chips, and caramel sauce drizzle over creamy ice cream.
Maccies fans rated it as “unforgettable” and “10/10,” highlighting the wonderful combination of chocolate and caramel flavors.
However, some complained that the caramel pieces were “too hard” — one review claimed that a person broke a tooth.
Nevertheless, the fast-food giant exclusively told The Sun that the McFlurry Toffee Crisp is back on the menu.
Events surrounding the courier and their misunderstanding with the customer sparked active discussions on social media, as such cases only underscore the importance of ethics in service. Meanwhile, changes in McDonald's loyalty program and the removal of a popular dessert indicate that the company is trying to balance innovation and service quality. Consumers remain attentive to changes and do not hesitate to share their opinions.
