Government employee Elon Musk has resigned from DOGE

One of the government officials, Elon Musk, has resigned from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), refusing to fulfill critically important government duties. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing AP.

Employees also noted that many of those Musk brought in to help reduce the federal government during the Time of President Donald Trump were political ideologues lacking the necessary skills and experience to fulfill the assigned tasks.

It should be recalled that Musk demanded U.S. federal employees report on their completed work by the evening of February 24. If this does not happen, they may be fired.

The administration of President Donald Trump, however, informed federal agency heads that they may ignore the public order from the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), billionaire Elon Musk, regarding the dismissal of employees who do not send a brief report on their work from the past week.

Another source reported that the office is considering a weekly reporting requirement for government departments, but the agency does not yet know what to do with the emails from employees who have already responded to the first email initiated by Musk and currently does not plan to analyze them.

Layoffs at the Agency for International Development

Earlier, 'Glavkom' reported that the Trump administration has reduced the number of employees at the Agency for International Development (USAID). Thousands of people have already left their jobs. Amidst Trump's political scandals, a wave of protests has erupted in America.

Earlier, the U.S. leader ordered the Department of Justice to fire all remaining prosecutors from the presidency of his predecessor, Joe Biden. Trump argued that the Department of Justice is 'more politicized than ever before.'
