The government launches eOselya: how IDPs will receive compensation for housing up to 70%.
According to inkorr.com: The Ministry of Communities and Territories Development announced the launch of the eOselya program, which will support internally displaced persons and residents of frontline regions. According to the ministry, the goal of the program is to address housing issues.
State support for housing purchase
In particular, the program provides for partial reimbursement of housing purchase costs: compensation will be 70% of the down payment and 70% of the monthly payment for the first year. Additional financial assistance is also planned to cover commissions, fees, and insurance costs. The maximum cost of housing that can be purchased under this program is 2 million hryvnias.
“At the same time, an experimental project is being launched to create municipal rental housing for internally displaced persons. This construction will be financed by local funds, loans, and grants and will remain in the ownership of the community, then be rented out at an affordable price,” the ministry reported.
Construction of a new residential quarter
Construction has also begun on a residential quarter for internally displaced persons from Mariupol in Bilaya Tserkva. This city is suitable for the integration of families who have lost their homes due to the war. The financing of this project is carried out with the funds of the Mariupol City Council. In the future, similar initiatives are planned to be implemented in other communities, the Ministry of Development noted.
Thus, the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development is launching the eOselya program to support people in need of housing and is also beginning the construction of new apartments for internally displaced persons. This is an important step for their integration into society and improving living conditions.
