A court hearing took place in the Kyiv region regarding the state enterprise 'Ukrainian Forests', which was accused of illegal logging in the park. The court's decision was published in the Unified State Register of Court Decisions.
In 2024, a fact of illegal logging of 25 trees, mainly birch and alder, was discovered in the 'Tashansk' park-memorial area in the Boryspil district of the Kyiv region.
Court's Decision
The Economic Court of the Kyiv region found the state enterprise guilty of improper performance of duties and fined it, obligating it to reimburse the Tashansk village council for damages of over 3.33 million hryvnias.
Earlier, in other regions of Ukraine, a man who illegally purchased amber worth half a million hryvnias and a man who sold vehicles designated for the Armed Forces of Ukraine were tried.
During the court hearing in the Kyiv region, the case regarding illegal logging in the park was resolved, the state enterprise was fined, and it was obliged to compensate for damages. Other court rulings in similar cases were also reminded.Read also
