Tents for Russian soldiers
The full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine, which will soon celebrate its fourth anniversary, is so important for Vladimir Putin that his soldiers are receiving tents that resemble sheets to shield themselves from temperatures of -14°C.Videos spreading on social media show at least a half dozen green tent-shelters, barely sufficient for one person, being used to protect against the cold.'Soldiers need the most comfortable shelter possible under these conditions,' one comment on the video states. These open-type tents do not provide adequate protection from severe winter conditions, which has provoked outrage among observers.Amid rising temperature challenges and deteriorating living conditions at the front, such news highlights the seriousness of the situation that Russian soldiers find themselves in. The issue of ensuring their comfort and safety is becoming increasingly pressing against the backdrop of the harsh military action statuses. Such facts suggest that the army may lack sufficient resources to support fighters in the difficult conditions of the winter period.
