Odegaard fell and received medical assistance, initially trying to continue playing. However, after a few minutes, the problem resurfaced, and he was substituted.
Interestingly, Odegaard became the first player in Premier League history to be substituted before the end of the first half in three consecutive league matches.
He spent only 30 minutes on the field against West Ham before being replaced by Martin Zubimendi.
This match was eight minutes shorter for him than the previous one, where he took the field against Leeds in August, when he had to leave the game in the 18th minute against Nottingham Forest.
It is also worth noting that shoulder issues had previously sidelined him during the game against Manchester City last month.
Injuries in the Arsenal team
Injuries in Arsenal are starting to become a serious issue, as Noni Madueke and Kai Havertz are currently unavailable. Key players like Bukayo Saka and William Saliba have also missed matches due to injuries.
Additionally, Piero Hincapie is also unavailable due to a groin injury.

However, Arsenal did not let this situation affect their game, as Declan Rice took advantage of a rebound and opened the scoring 1-0 in the match against West Ham.
In modern football, injuries to key players can significantly impact a team's results. Arsenal has already faced the absence of many players, but the strong spirit and fighting attitude of the team seem to help them cope with difficulties. Now it remains to be seen how this will affect their upcoming matches in the season.
