Diplomat revealed when Russia plans to strike the West of Ukraine with 'Oreshnik'.
Russia prepares for strike on the West of Ukraine or Kyiv
Chairman of the Ukrainian Crisis Media Center, diplomat and former ambassador of Ukraine to the USA Valery Chaly informed that Russia is preparing for a demonstrative strike with its strategic weapon on the West of Ukraine or may attempt to attack Kyiv from December 10 to 19. On November 23, the Russians already tried to launch a ballistic missile 'Oreshnik' with the aim of striking Kyiv, but it failed.
According to Chaly's statements, the most likely targets for the strike could be the western regions of Ukraine, as the Kremlin wants to demonstrate the range of its weapon, which reaches European countries.
Regardless of this, Chaly noted that Russia does not cease testing tactical nuclear warheads. This is not a deterioration of the situation, but a way to demonstrate its positions before Donald Trump, the USA, and Europe.
On November 21, Russia first attacked with an intercontinental ballistic missile 'Rubizh' in the Dnipro area. The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine note that Russia used various types of missiles. The characteristics of the 'Rubizh' missile remain unknown, but its range is 6 thousand kilometers with a launch weight of 40-50 tons.
