Children's football tournament interrupted due to bullying: city hall demands an apology.
The children's football team 'Kvadrо' from Zlatopol prematurely ended its participation in the 'Slavsko cup-2025' tournament due to a possible case of bullying during a match against a team from Lviv region. The organizer stated that there was no need to apologize to the children, but still offered an apology.
According to inkorr.com: Deputy of the Lozova District Council Maksym Styfaniщen spoke about the conflict that arose due to the goalkeeper of 'Kvadrо', who was older than the declared age. The parents of the opponents expressed distrust towards the team from Kharkiv region, were horrified and insulted the players after the loss.
The match ended with a score of 3:1 in favor of the Zlatopol team, but the parents of the opponents continued to show aggression, negatively regarding the team.

Mayor Mykola Bakshеєv demands official apologies for unsportsmanlike behavior and bullying. He noted that the children were ignored during the tournament, while the parents acted hooliganically and provoked conflicts.

Tournament organizer Oleksandr Kryvenda acknowledged the possibility of older players in the 'Kvadrо' team, but stated that it was not a significant issue for him during the tournament. Kryvenda believes the reaction of the 'Kvadrо' coach was exaggerated and unfounded.
The organizers ensured safety after the match, and those who violated the rules were removed from the stadium. Kryvenda excludes the possibility of apologizing to the Zlatopol team, asserting that they acted within the tournament regulations.
