Waste Paper in Ukraine: How Much You Can Sell Books, Newspapers, and Cardboard in August 2025.
What Waste Paper Can Be Sold
The price of paper products depends on many factors. Firstly, the final earnings of the seller are affected by the volume of secondary raw materials. Secondly, the degree of preparedness for further processing (it is advisable to get rid of metal staples, sort by type, and stack them). The third factor is the degree of contamination. Acceptance points allow contamination of up to 5% without reducing the price. If the level is higher, one will have to go without part of their profit. In cases of high humidity of the material, the price also drops, so this should be carefully monitored. Additionally, the type of waste paper, appearance of the paper, and even payment format play a significant role. Very often, with cashless payment methods, the price per kilogram of raw material will be slightly higher than with cash payments. This nuance should be directly clarified with the buyer. Ukrainians can hand over various paper products, including books, newspapers, magazines, catalogs, cardboard boxes, notebooks, office paper, and much more.
