“The weather will already feel like summer.”
Meteorologist Natalka Didenko
She added that “temperatures are rising, but they will stay within comfortable summer levels—maybe hitting +30 or slightly above, but not reaching +40.” So while Ukraine is set for warmer conditions, it will avoid the extreme heat seen in some European countries.
Ukraine vs. Europe: A Contrast in Conditions
For context, parts of Europe may see temperatures as high as +45°C on the same day, while Ukraine’s climate remains more moderate. Additionally, astronomers have recorded 16 sunspots, and solar activity is currently low. This means Ukraine’s weather on June 20 will be a mix of localized rain showers and pleasant summer warmth.
The June 20 forecast highlights that Ukraine will not be affected by the extreme temperatures hitting other European regions. This moderation is significant for agriculture and the energy sector, as milder heat reduces the risk of crop damage and overheating. The expected rainfall in certain areas could also improve soil moisture and water supplies. In short, while summer has arrived, Ukraine will enjoy more comfortable conditions compared to its neighbors.
