Expert Commentary

Dmytro Snyehyrov, commenting on the situation, noted: 'The Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding the Shevchenko microdistrict.'

Meanwhile, a representative of the 7th Corps of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces reported that 'two columns of the Russian army simultaneously advanced along different routes.' Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the Russian army has already suffered losses exceeding 1,386,000 soldiers.

The situation on the front lines remains tense, especially in the eastern sectors, where fierce fighting continues. The destruction of a significant amount of Russian equipment and personnel underscores the active resistance of Ukrainian forces and their determination to maintain control over critically important territories. These events highlight the importance of supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine in countering aggression, and they also point to the Russian army's persistent attempts to conduct offensive operations—attempts that, however, do not always succeed.
