SFS strengthens control over electronics prices: what has increased by 30%

According to inkorr.com: The State Tax Service of Ukraine has decided to strengthen control over electronics prices due to the sharp rise in the cost of backup power supply devices. According to official information, some products have increased by 30% in just a week.

Acting Head of the SFS Lesya Karnaukh emphasized: 'Transparent rules for everyone are, among other things, about humanity and honesty. Especially in difficult conditions.'

Discussion on business integrity

Karnaukh reported on a meeting with representatives of retail chains, where the issues of business honesty and equality of competitive conditions were discussed. She noted that the rise in electronics prices is 'the next challenge' and an attempt by some market participants to exploit the situation.

'When people were without electricity and water for 12-18 hours, and energy workers competed to restore supply, a few decided to make extra money,' - Karnaukh wrote.

Price increases

The tax service also recorded a sharp rise in prices for charging stations and generators. Karnaukh noted that the price increase mainly started with wholesale suppliers responding to increased demand.

The head of the SFS emphasized the necessity of monitoring the situation with 'gray' equipment and checking pricing accuracy to determine tax obligations. She called for mutual understanding and support for one another in times of crisis.

Thus, the State Tax Service is strengthening control over electronics prices, which will help combat unscrupulous players in the market and protect consumer interests. These measures are crucial for maintaining market stability amid economic challenges.
