DTEK and Siemens Energy signed a memorandum: where the investments will be directed

According to ТСН: The message from DTEK states that in the conditions of full-scale war, the modernization and resilience of the energy sector are extremely important. The signing of the Memorandum is strategically significant for both the company and the country.

The document provides for the development of joint projects aimed at the restoration and modernization of Ukraine's energy system, the introduction of digital solutions, as well as the preparation of initiatives according to EU Green Finance standards. This will allow attracting European 'green' investments.

Strategic cooperation with Siemens Energy

DTEK Energy's General Director Oleksandr Fomenko emphasized:

We see cooperation with Siemens Energy as a strategic step towards the modernization of Ukrainian energy. Our energy workers have been working 24/7 under shelling for almost four years, keeping the lights on for the country. But their bravery and professionalism alone are not enough when the enemy systematically destroys infrastructure. Modern equipment, fast logistics, and reliable partners are needed.

DTEK reports that the first stage will be to provide thermal power plants with the necessary equipment that will allow safely and quickly disconnecting electrical lines in case of an emergency or overload. This will significantly reduce recovery time.

The company also noted:

The partnership is aimed at enhancing the ability of Ukrainian energy to quickly recover from attacks and transition to modern, resilient, and technologically advanced solutions.

This Memorandum opens new horizons for the Ukrainian energy system, as in the conditions of constant threats from war, modernization and adaptation to international standards become extremely relevant. Cooperation with global leaders like Siemens Energy can significantly enhance not only the efficiency but also the safety of Ukrainian energy facilities.
