Former Russian Transport Minister Roman Starovoit committed suicide on Monday, July 7. This happened after Russian dictator Vladimir Putin dismissed him.

Death of Roman Starovoit
According to Russian media, Starovoit took his own life in his home in Odintsovo. This morning, Putin dismissed him.
Next to the body of the former transport minister, a firearm was found, which he received from the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in 2023 as a reward.
Collapse in Airports and Kursk
According to several media outlets, Putin announced Starovoit’s resignation due to the collapse in Russian airports.
Additionally, Starovoit was the governor of the Kursk region during the start of the Armed Forces of Ukraine operation.
It is noteworthy that on July 4, the vice president of 'Transneft', Andrey Badalov, was found dead in Moscow. He likely committed suicide.
Putin is fearful of conducting international flights as he may be arrested in 125 countries due to the ICC warrant.
