The 23-year-old player left the game almost 20 minutes before the end of the match, in which Chelsea lost 2-1 at Old Trafford.

The Italian coach noted that the English international made a significant effort to be in the starting lineup for the match against United.
Maresca stated: "We need to evaluate Cole Palmer. He has already made a huge effort to play in the last match. He wants to be on the field to help his partners in important matches. It will be day by day, week by week, game by game, to see how he feels."
Palmer has played an important role at Chelsea since his transfer from Manchester City for £42.5 million in 2023. The forward helped the team win the Europa Conference League trophy and the Club World Cup.
He remains a key figure in Maresca's lineup this season, and many believe that the versatile forward is Chelsea's most important player.
Palmer has already scored two goals in four matches across all competitions this season.
