The European Commission approved the 'roaming visa-free' for Ukraine.
The European Commission agreed to grant Ukraine the right to use the EU's 'visa-free roaming' services starting January 1, 2026. Today, the government approved this decision, which became part of the implementation procedure of the 'roaming visa-free' agreement between Ukraine and the EU.
Remaining users of mobile services in the EU on favorable terms until the end of this year, Ukrainians will be able to continue using this opportunity as the agreement on favorable roaming has been extended until December 31, 2025.
The next step is the integration of Ukrainian and European networks to ensure full compatibility and comfort for users. Representatives from various institutions and organizations participating in the development of this initiative have been involved in this process.
