According to inkorr.com: European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced the development of a reparations loan mechanism for Ukraine that will comply with international law. She made this statement during a meeting with President of the European Council Charles Michel.
'We had a fruitful discussion regarding the reparations loan, which will be financed by frozen Russian assets, and this allowed us to identify points that still need clarification. Then we will come back with various options that we will develop,'von der Leyen emphasized.
She also noted that she supports a new sanctions package against Russia aimed at weakening the Russian military economy. Emphasizing the importance of cooperation with partners, von der Leyen underscored that the European Union is ready to provide Ukraine support in achieving peace and stability.
