European leaders condemn Russian aggression

According to UATV: Following one of the heaviest Russian attacks on Ukraine, European leaders have strongly denounced the assault and demanded tougher sanctions along with increased support for the Ukrainian people. On July 19, Kyiv was hit by more than 40 missiles launched in multiple waves, marking one of the largest strikes on the capital using ballistic weapons.

Foreign ministers speak out

The foreign ministers of Estonia and Latvia shared their perspectives on Russia’s actions.

Margus Tsahkna stated: 'This is exactly why our isolation of Russia cannot pause for even a moment. Pressure must increase. Sanctions must tighten. Only a firm and continuous strategic isolation can truly strip the Kremlin of its ability to continue this campaign of terror.'

His remarks underscore the need for relentless pressure on Russia to prevent further acts of aggression.

Baiba Braže also commented on the situation, saying: 'Putin does not seek peace, so he must be compelled to pursue it through new sanctions against Russia and simultaneous reinforcement of support for Ukraine.'

She highlighted the importance of international efforts to sustain aid for Ukraine amid ongoing aggression. European leaders continue to stress the urgency of decisive action to counter Russian terror.
