Partey denies all allegations, with the incidents reportedly occurring between 2021 and 2022 while he was playing for Arsenal.
The player appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court today.
At a hearing last month, the court heard that Partey allegedly raped one of the women three times at his home in Hertfordshire.
At the same time, he is accused of assaulting one of the women while on holiday in Spain.
The court also heard that Partey sexually assaulted the third woman, trying to kiss her and touching her without consent.
“He received parole and signed a contract with La Liga club Villarreal two days after this.”
The midfielder was booed by Tottenham fans when he returned to London for a Champions League match. He was greeted with jeers when he came onto the pitch in the 78th minute, and the taunts continued until the end of the game.
Manager's comments and club reaction
Before the match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which was Partey's first in Britain after the allegations, manager Marcelino Garcia Toral stated that he was confident the player was “ready” for the game and potential negative reception.
Partey has played four matches in La Liga for Villarreal this season, stepping on the field only once.
After announcing his move to the Spanish club, Villarreal released a statement noting that legal proceedings against Partey are ongoing.
The document stated: “Villarreal CF and Thomas Partey have reached an agreement to sign a contract ahead of the 2025/26 season.”
“The player will join his new team at training tomorrow.”
At the same time, Partey is also noted as a “hard-working midfielder with excellent physical qualities.”
“The club also clarified that it is aware of the player's involvement in legal proceedings in England.”
