According to TMZ, the NFL commentator left the hospital this morning.

He was charged with causing bodily harm, illegal entry into a vehicle, and public intoxication.

The 38-year-old man was reportedly acting in a bizarre and inappropriate manner at the time of the incident.

Another person involved in the conflict received treatment for injuries, the Indianapolis police reported.

This is a 69-year-old man who suffered 'serious injuries,' Fox News WXIN noted, citing police sources.

Additionally, it was revealed that Sanchez, according to witnesses, was behaving 'inappropriately' before the attack, sprinting in an alley before the encounter with the driver.

The man told police that he acted in self-defense when Sanchez was stabbed in the chest on the grounds of Loughmiller’s Pub & Eatery.

According to the statement, the argument between them arose because the man parked his truck in a delivery spot to pick up used cooking oil.

Court documents state that the man suffered an injury to his left cheek and had already been discharged from the hospital.

During an interview with detectives at the hospital, Sanchez indicated that he only remembers 'reaching for the window' and does not know who attacked him or where exactly it happened.

Video from a neighboring hotel reportedly shows Sanchez approaching the driver's door and starting a conversation with him, according to police data.

The driver told police it was hard to understand what the athlete was saying because he didn't have hearing aids and claimed that Sanchez was speaking incoherently.

The next part of the video likely shows their interaction by the truck, after which the man starts to back off.

“Then Sanchez is seen running (after the man), and the video shows that Mr. Sanchez grabs and throws (the man) against the wall of the Westin hotel,” police wrote in the document.

The conflict escalated, with the man claiming he used pepper spray, which Sanchez allegedly blew off his face.

When the spray didn't work, the man, who, according to him, thought: 'this guy is trying to kill me,' pulled out a knife and allegedly stabbed the athlete in the torso multiple times.

Sanchez fled the alley, recounting the shocking event.

He was later found injured in a nearby bar, from which he was quickly transported to the hospital in critical condition.
