Increase in Payments for Recipients of Social Assistance
According to The Sun: Millions of people receiving social payments can expect an increase in April of next year. The amounts of assistance, such as Universal Credit, PIP, and Care Allowance, will rise to match the increase in expenses.
The government typically uses inflation figures from September to determine how much to increase social payments.
“This is an important step to support people who depend on social assistance amid rising living costs,” said a government representative.
Therefore, recipients of assistance can expect positive changes in their financial conditions in the near future. The increase in payments will provide important support for many, as the rising cost of living presents significant challenges for Ukrainians.
