Increase in the Number of F-16s in Ukrainian Aviation
Ukraine's aviation is increasing the number of F-16 aircraft. This was reported by a representative of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Yurii Ihnat during the marathon 'United News'. He noted that on the night of August 30, fighter pilots, as well as operators of interceptor drones, joined in repelling a massive attack by Russia, reports FREEДOM.
'The interceptor drones performed quite well. As did the F-16s and other aircraft. I won’t say where, I won’t say how many, but they worked well. I’ll note that interceptor drones are showing increasing effectiveness on the battlefield,' — Yurii Ihnat said.
He also emphasized that the improvement of various types of weapons continues uninterruptedly.
'And this modernization includes not only technical innovations and scaling of production but also the creation of new units and the search for specialists,' — explained the speaker of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Earlier, it was reported that the Russian army has likely lost another Su-30SM fighter jet.
The confirmation of the number of F-16 aircraft in the composition of the Ukrainian Air Force indicates the ongoing development of military aviation. This process will help improve Ukraine's defense capability and strengthen air defense in the conditions of modern warfare. The implementation of new technologies and modernization of existing systems is critically important for the effectiveness of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the battlefield.
