Inflation in Britain has accelerated again: which products have risen in price the most.
According to The Sun: According to information, food prices are rising, putting additional strain on family budgets due to high inflation. Prices for butter, chocolate, and eggs have risen particularly sharply. The British Retail Consortium-NIQ index showed that food prices increased by 4.2 percent this month, which is the highest rate since February 2024.
Inflation for fresh food reached 4.1 percent, up from 3.2 percent in the previous month, particularly due to rising dairy prices. The situation is further complicated by the rising cost of national insurance, which impacts food prices.
According to British Retail Consortium director Helen Dickinson, high inflation puts pressure on family budgets, and while retailers are trying to limit price increases, they are facing challenges due to high costs from last year.
Ukrainian families are also feeling the effects of rising food prices, as bills for groceries continue to increase. The unstable economic situation in the country complicates the situation, and many citizens are forced to find ways to save and use their money wisely.
