The Charity Fund 'Caritas Poltava' has opened registration for participation in the grant project SCALE, aimed at providing support for citizens in running household agriculture. Within this framework, it is possible to receive from UAH 8,000 to UAH 125,000.

What the Program from the Caritas Poltava Fund Includes

Under the project 'Development of Agricultural Resilience and Improvement of Livelihoods', financial assistance will be available to citizens whose agricultural households have been affected by Russian aggression.

The implementation of the program will cover the following communities:

  • Poltava;
  • Globyne;
  • Opishnya;
  • Kotelevske.

The project aims to help:

  • restore and develop agricultural activities;
  • improve access to markets;
  • raise citizens' awareness in farm management through training sessions.

Households with the following vulnerability categories can apply for assistance:

  • large families (from three children);
  • household members have disabilities (first and second groups) or severe/chronic illnesses;
  • the household is headed by a single mother or father, or guardians;
  • the household has pregnant women/children under three years old;
  • the family has elderly people (from 60 years old);
  • the household has pre-retirement individuals from 50 years old without sources of income.

Amount of Assistance and How to Apply

The Charity Fund 'Caritas Poltava' will provide the following grants:

  • UAH 33,000 — UAH 125,000 for purchasing equipment, seeds, fertilizers, small livestock, feed, repairing agricultural infrastructure and restoring irrigation systems;
  • UAH 8,000 — UAH 16,500 for improving access to markets and increasing the added value of agricultural products, support for food processing and covering logistics costs.

For preliminary registration in the project, an online application must be filled out.

Earlier, we reported that some women are entitled to a state reward. The Pension Fund explained who is eligible for assistance of UAH 30,000.

We also reported that the NGO 'Fight For Right' is accepting applications from vulnerable groups of citizens and internally displaced people. The program includes financial assistance of up to UAH 4,000.
