Footballer Rafa Mir accused of sexual assault: trial to begin on October 13.

According to The Sun: Former striker of 'Wolverhampton' and 'Nottingham Forest' Rafa Mir has been charged with assault and sexual attack.
Mir, who is 28 years old, currently plays for 'Elche' in La Liga, on loan from 'Sevilla'.

According to Las Provincias, Mir is set to appear in court on October 13 in a case regarding the assault of a 21-year-old woman.
According to the woman, she met them at a nightclub and went home with her friend to Mir's house.
Spanish media report that the woman claims Mir assaulted her in the bathroom and at the pool.
The player was held in custody for several days before being released on bail. Mir paid £10,800, and Jira's bail was set at £4,300.
He was ordered to surrender his passport and maintain a distance of 500 meters from the complainant.
Additionally, Mir has been prohibited from leaving the country while the case remains active.
If he is found guilty in court next week, the player could face several years in prison.
The Spanish Football Federation also has the power to ban him from playing football for up to five years if it finds violations of sporting ethics.
Mir played for 'Wolverhampton' from 2018 to 2021, making four appearances for the club.
He spent half a season on loan at 'Forest' during the 2019-20 campaign, managing to play 13 matches.
