According to The Sun: Former Championship player Nikola Katich became a true hero after saving the life of his opponent, who collapsed on the field due to a hit from Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius.
Defender Katich, who currently plays for the German club Schalke, previously played for Plymouth Argyle last season.

Grodovsky lost consciousness and swallowed his tongue. But Katich quickly sprang into action, placing the forward in the recovery position and pulling his tongue out of his throat.
Within minutes, Grodovsky regained consciousness and hugged the Schalke defender before leaving the field.
Katich, 28, stated: “When I saw Grodovsky lying on the ground, I immediately ran to him. It was a natural reaction for me. Even though we all want to win, health is the most important thing.”

Schalke head coach Miron Muslic emphasized: “Nikola reacted very well after the collision. He immediately understood the problem, and I hope that Joel Grodovsky feels better very soon.”
Bielefeld head coach Mitch Knaat noted: “Joel wanted to continue the game, but we understood that he needed to leave the field.”
Karius joined Schalke as a free agent in January after his time at Newcastle, where he faced significant criticism for his performance in the 2018 Champions League final.
