Brooklyn Erich commented on his attempt to buy Tottenham

According to The Sun: BROOKLYN ERICH shared details about his attempt to buy the football club Tottenham, refuting the information regarding his offer of £4.5 billion, which he called 'unexpected'.

As reported by Sun Sport, the 41-year-old former DJ Erich, along with his team of 12 financial partners, directly offered the owners of Tottenham, ENIC and the Lewis family, £3.3 billion. An additional £1.2 billion is to be spent on transfers, salaries, and agent fees.

This amount could set the record for the purchase of a football club, surpassing the £4.25 billion paid by a group led by Todd Boehly for Chelsea in 2022.

ENIC stated in a stock exchange announcement concerning the initial contact that the offer was 'categorically rejected' as it involved formal procedures of the takeover panel.

A source close to the Lewis family also described Erich's interest as 'unexpected and unnecessary'.

Documents for stay and club visit

However, Erich presented this situation from a different perspective, sharing details about his club tour and the facilities that took place on August 6, almost two months before the first contact regarding the purchase.

On the Tottenham schedule, Erich and his assistant were mentioned, and their planned arrival time at the club office, the Lilywhite House, was at 10:00 AM.

During the tour, he familiarized himself with 17 different elements of the club, including the club lounges on the second and fifth floors, the home team's locker room, the club tunnel, NFL areas, a museum, and the area where a hotel is to be built.

At 12:30 PM, he also visited the offices of F3 Architects, who planned the training base and other facilities.

Additionally, Erich worked with Aston Villa and the Newbury racetrack on key projects aimed at 'presenting a property portfolio with a sandwich lunch' before heading to Hotspur Way at 2:00 PM.

This led to a two-and-a-half-hour tour across 77 acres of land in Enfield, including the first team and academy areas, as well as a 'buggy tour' through open spaces, a hotel accommodation area, and an adjacent property on Whitewebbs, where a new women's academy for Spurs is planned.

Erich also shared a photo with the official statement from the takeover panel regarding his offer, accompanying it with the comment 'unexpected'.
