NANDO’S: Roosters available at Aldi seems to be inspired by the Portuguese restaurant with grilled chicken skewers, but costs much less. A pack of spicy chicken wings costs £2.99, while at Nando's the price of ten wings is about £13.25.
Marks & Spencer offers a half chicken with peri-peri for £6.75, whereas at Nando's the price starts from £8.95.
KFC: If you prefer KFC, Roosters at Aldi offers soul-style chicken for £1.09 for 210 g. At Tesco, you can find Jahan - soul-style popcorn chicken, 500 g for £2.25. A standard portion of popcorn chicken at KFC weighing about 140 g costs £3.99.
DOMINO’S PIZZA: The Chef Select range from Lidl resembles Domino's menu. Choose barbecue chicken with bacon or potato pizza, both for £3.99. At Domino's, a medium pizza costs about £12.
McDONALD’S: Many supermarkets offer budget options for McDonald’s. A Happy Meal at McDonald’s costs around £3.69, but at Iceland, you can buy a Snacksters cheeseburger Smile In A Box for £3, which includes fries and a cookie. The supermarket also offers a 20-pack of chicken nuggets for £3.99, which is practically half the price of McNuggets. Aldi has a two-pack of fries for £1.29.
