According to ITC.ua — Техно: Chinese automaker Geely has launched a new ultra-fast charging platform for electric vehicles, marking the debut of the Lynk & Co 10 electric sedan in the Chinese market. At the heart of this announcement is the Aegis Gold Brick battery, capable of reaching a peak power output of 1,093 kW. This development comes as competition in the EV sector intensifies, with manufacturers racing to solve range anxiety and charging downtime.

The battery delivers remarkable charging speed. It can go from a 10% to 70% charge in just 4 minutes and 22 seconds. A full charge from 10% to 97% takes only 8 minutes and 42 seconds. During the charging process, the vehicle gains roughly 2 kilometers of driving range every second, making it highly practical for daily use.
Durability is also a key feature: the battery is rated for 4,500 complete charge cycles, underscoring its long-term reliability. During charging, the battery temperature stays below 64°C, a critical factor for safety and system efficiency.
