General Staff: 182 combat clashes occurred on the front in one day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed Russian warehouses.

Situation at the front

Over the past day, 182 combat clashes occurred at the front. The most intense attacks were carried out by Russian troops in the Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Novopavlivka directions. This information was reported today, August 31, by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to FREEДОМ.

Attacks and shelling

The Russian army launched a massive missile and air strike, firing 48 missiles and conducting two missile strikes and 79 airstrikes, using three missiles and dropping 161 guided bombs. In total, the enemy carried out 4,475 shellings, including 51 from multiple launch rocket systems, as well as used 5,563 kamikaze drones.

Successful actions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine

The aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck:

• two areas of troop concentration, weapons, and military equipment;
• one command post and two enemy ammunition depots.

Results of the battle

In the Severo-Slobozhansky and Kursky directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled 14 enemy attacks. Over the past day, the enemy carried out 17 airstrikes, dropped 43 guided bombs, and conducted 194 artillery shellings. In the Yuzhno-Slobozhansky direction, 11 attacks were repelled in the areas of Volchansk, Gluboky, Kamenka, and towards Novovasylivka.

In the Kupyansk direction, the occupiers conducted nine attacks. The Defense Forces successfully repelled assault actions near Petropavlivka and Kupyansk. In the Lyman direction, the enemy carried out 30 attacks, trying to break through the defense.

In the Seversky direction, Ukrainian troops stopped seven attacks in the Seredryanka area, while in the Kramatorsk direction – seven attacks near Stupochky and towards Podolsky.

In the Toretsk direction, 10 attacks occurred in the areas of Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, Katerynivka, and Poltavka. In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 50 assaults in the areas of Shakhove, Sukhetske, Nikanorivka, and others.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, the enemy launched 26 attacks, and in the Orikhovsk direction – five. In the Hulyaipolsk and Pridniprovsk directions, the enemy did not carry out attacks.

No signs of enemy offensive group formations were detected in the Volyn and Polis directions.

Additionally, over the past day, the Defense Forces of Ukraine eliminated 810 Russian soldiers, two tanks, 27 artillery systems, and downed over 370 enemy drones.

This data indicates the continuation of large-scale hostilities on all fronts, where Ukrainian forces actively maintain their position and inflict significant losses on the enemy. The situation remains tense, but the Defense Forces of Ukraine demonstrate resilience and readiness to repel attacks.
