The General Staff expands the fight against drones: new robotic complexes at the front.
According to inkorr.com: In the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a meeting was held regarding the development of capabilities in the context of modern combat challenges and rapid technological changes. The event was chaired by the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Andrii Hnatov, as reported by the General Staff.
Adaptation to New Challenges
During the meeting, issues of adaptation to new threats were discussed, in particular, countering hostile drones. Special attention was paid to the detection and destruction of such devices, including those with jet engines. The focus was also on strengthening capabilities in the field of radio technical intelligence and enhancing the protection of port infrastructure from unmanned enemy boats.
'One of the priority areas for the development of the Ukrainian military remains the use of ground robotic complexes (GRC)... this is the key to maintaining a technological advantage over the enemy,' the General Staff emphasized.
Thus, the meeting underscored the importance of adapting the Armed Forces to new realities, including effective combat against enemy drones, improving radio technical intelligence, and safeguarding critical infrastructure.
The relevance of such measures is becoming increasingly evident in the context of constant changes at the front and a high level of technological threats. Strengthening defense capabilities is a priority for the Ukrainian military to ensure the country's security and resist aggression.
