General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: The situation on the front is escalating, 74 combat clashes recorded.

Increase in the number of combat clashes on the frontline

As of 16:00 on July 30, 2024, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that the number of combat clashes along the frontline has significantly increased.

74 combat episodes were recorded during the day.

The occupiers continue to actively use aviation, specifically corrective air bombs, and carry out attacks in all directions in the east and south of Ukraine. Especially intense battles are taking place in the Pokrovske direction.

In the Kharkiv direction, there were four combat clashes. Ukrainian troops repelled three Russian attacks near Vovchansk, and another clash is ongoing.

The Kupiansk direction experienced three enemy attempts to improve their tactical position in the areas of Novosynove and Pishchane. Two attacks are still ongoing.

The Lyman direction became the arena of 12 combat clashes, of which six are still unresolved. The enemy is attacking in the areas of Makiivka, Nevske, Verkhniokamianske, Pereizne, Vyiimka, and the Serebriansk Forest.

In the Kramatorsk direction, a battle is ongoing in the area of Chasiv Yar, where the enemy is trying to advance on the positions of Ukrainian defenders. One attack has already been repelled.

The Toretsk direction experienced six attacks with the support of assault and bomber aviation. Battles continue near Pivnichne and New York.

The most tense situation remains in the Pokrovske direction, where the enemy made 32 attempts to storm Ukrainian positions in various settlements.

In the Kurakhove direction, one combat clash is ongoing in the area of Krasnohorivka. Nine enemy assaults were repelled near Paraskoviivka and Kostyantynivka.

The Vremivsk direction experienced four enemy assault actions towards Velyka Novosilka.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled one enemy attack. The invaders are actively using aviation in the areas of Omelnyk, Novoandreivka, and Novodanilivka.

The General Staff emphasizes that Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding off the enemy's advance and inflicting significant losses on the occupiers.
