In his address, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported on meetings and briefings that took place on August 2, 2024.

The start of the day was dedicated to discussing military affairs, in particular, the situation at the front, especially in the Pokrovske direction. The President noted that it is necessary to strengthen the response in this direction and emphasized the importance of the fight of Ukrainian soldiers.

The situation in Kharkiv region and southern regions was also reviewed, as well as issues of cooperation with Turkey in the construction of corvettes for Ukraine.

The President held a meeting with the Ministry of Defense team on the implementation of new modern solutions aimed at reducing bureaucracy. These solutions will be presented to the public soon.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the international team of the President's Office discussed Ukraine's foreign policy opportunities thanks to the support of Ukrainians and foreign citizens. This support helps to increase aid for the state and people and to keep Ukraine in global attention.

The President emphasized the importance of unity within Ukraine and worldwide to defeat evil. Greater consolidation of the people and international partners is expected in August, which requires cooperation between the government and the Verkhovna Rada.
