The special representative of the U.S. president's administration, J. Kellogg, responded to the statements of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, D. Medvedev, regarding the possibility of a third world war. He considers such threats imprudent and irresponsible, emphasizing that the head of the United States is making every effort for a peaceful resolution of the conflict and the cessation of violence.
'Regarding Trump's words that Putin is 'playing with fire' and that 'very bad things' are happening with Russia. I know only one VERY BAD thing - a third world war. I hope Trump understands this!'
Kellogg added that the president has already reminded Medvedev about the promised Memorandum on Ceasefire and urged the Russian side to immediately cease fire, emphasizing that spreading fear of war is an unacceptable method for resolving conflicts in the modern world.
