Grain from Ukraine: the food aid program will expand to new countries in Africa.
Denys Bashlyk's meeting with UN representatives
According to inkorr.com: Denys Bashlyk held a meeting with representatives of the World Food Programme of the UN in Ukraine. The participants discussed the possibilities of expanding the Grain from Ukraine program to new African countries. This will significantly increase the volumes of Ukrainian food aid for the most vulnerable regions of the continent.
Current state of the program
It was also noted that currently 18 countries around the world are already receiving aid under this initiative, which includes not only grain but also other food products. The program is supported by donor countries and is coordinated in cooperation with the World Food Programme of the UN, which confirms Ukraine's readiness to contribute to global food security.
The expansion of the Grain from Ukraine program will be an important step towards increasing assistance to African states suffering from hunger. The situation in many regions of the continent remains critical, and each shipment of food can significantly change the lives of people who find themselves in difficult conditions.
