Money in Education - How Much Are They Willing to Pay Labor Teachers in Ukraine.

In the modern Ukrainian school, the role of the labor teacher is extremely important. They not only teach children how to work with tools and develop household skills, but also contribute to forming practical thinking, responsibility, and independence.According to information from the Work.ua portal, the average salary of a labor teacher in Ukraine as of July 14, 2025, is UAH 12,500. This figure remains at the same level as in July of last year.Regarding payments, the highest salary, specifically UAH 30,000, is offered to a turner-master of vocational training at Vocational School No. 2 in Dnipro. There are also offers ranging from UAH 15,000 to UAH 20,000 for vocational training masters in other institutions. In Kyiv, UAH 16,000-18,000 is paid to a pedagogical worker in the position of a vocational training master.Educational ombudsman Nadiya Leshchyk emphasized that the issue of teachers' salaries depends on the government and the Ministry of Finance. She pointed out that the salary of a teacher does not even reach the minimum wage, so it is necessary to revise the approaches to salary payments for teachers, as they are currently outdated and do not meet modern requirements.
