Money from the School Package - when should it be used.
In 2025, parents of first-graders will receive 5 thousand hryvnias. They will receive funds as part of the state program School Package. Meanwhile, Ukrainians are interested in how long they will be able to spend the provided money.
The press service of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) answered this question.
How to receive 5 thousand hryvnias and for how long can it be spent
The PFU reported that applications from parents will be accepted until November 15 of this year. This can be done through the mobile application 'Diia'.
'Parents or legal representatives who do not have the appropriate technical capability can submit an application to the service center of the territorial body of PFU in paper form', - they said in the Pension Fund.
Ukrainians cannot spend the money from the School Package immediately. They can use it within 180 calendar days from the moment it is credited to a special account.
What can be bought for schoolchildren
The money can be used to buy:
- school supplies;
- children's clothing;
- footwear.
In total, parents will have four codes available, which will correspond to specific products. School supplies can be purchased from entities that sell the appropriate goods.
The state program School Package in 2025 provides for the payment of 5 thousand hryvnias to parents of first-graders, which can be spent on school supplies, children's clothing and footwear. To receive the funds, an application must be submitted to the Pension Fund of Ukraine by November 15 of this year and spent within 180 days.
