The Bureau of Economic Security has uncovered a group of companies that evaded paying 30 million UAH in profit tax. These enterprises were engaged in the storage and transportation of agricultural products.

These enterprises are part of a holding that is a resident of the United Arab Emirates and has criminal proceedings and lawsuits regarding unpaid creditor debt. The name of the company is not disclosed, however, it is likely to be the agricultural holding GNT Group.

During the investigation, the authorities established that employees of the companies intentionally understated their income for taxation. They reported the cost of transportation services as 200-300 UAH per ton, while the market price for such services in our country is 800 UAH.

In their tax reporting, the difference in the cost of the services was transferred to controlled entities that are non-residents. The incorrectly accrued profit was returned to the country through illegal means. Between 2023-2024, the holding companies evaded paying 30 million UAH in profit tax.

During a search at the grain terminal, financial and economic documentation showing signs of forgery was seized. These documents concerned the origin, transportation, and export of agricultural products.

The authorities are examining the activities of the holding and its companies regarding non-transparent activities and the failure to pay creditor debt. It is known that earlier the High Court of England issued an order for the arrest of the holding owners' assets, but they created another company and continued illegal activities.

Investigation into GNT Group

Additionally, the Bureau of Economic Security is investigating the activities of the agricultural holding GNT Group and the companies that are part of it. These companies are also involved in criminal proceedings regarding non-transparent activities and the failure to pay creditor debt.

It is also known that the foreign fund Argentem Creek Partners (ACP) is claiming a debt from GNT Group, explaining its actions by the opacity of their activities. The Ukrainian side has accused Argentem of raiding and attempting to seize the assets of the company.

The co-owners of GNT Group, Serhiy Groza and Volodymyr Naumenko, have lawsuits from Innovatus Capital Partners (Innovatus) and Argentem Creek Partners (ACP). The High Court of England issued an order for the arrest of these individuals' assets.

The investigation revealed that GNT Group sold grain that had been pledged as collateral without the consent of creditors. This led to losses amounting to nearly 37.5 million UAH.
