New data on Russian athletes supporting the war

According to inkorr.com: The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has published information on Russian athletes who support the war in the section 'Champions of Terror' on the War&Sanctions portal. Information about eight new individuals, including weightlifters, artistic gymnasts, and an archer, has been added to the list.

Included in the list is Russian slalom skier Alsu Minazova, who participated in propaganda activities in 2025. Also on the list is Belarusian gymnast Alina Harnaska, Russian weightlifters Yana Sotiyeva, Regina Shaidullina, Anastasia Romanova, and Belarusian trampoliner Ivan Litvinovich.

It should be noted that the inclusion of certain athletes in the list was based on materials from 'Glavkom'.

Moreover, Russian speed skater Daniil Naydenyshev, recognized as a neutral athlete by international sports organizations, turned out to be a friend of the Russian occupier Mikhail Lebedev. Lebedev actively participates in the war against Ukraine and publishes relevant materials on social media.

This information from the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine underscores the participation of Russian athletes in propaganda campaigns and their connections with the occupation forces.

An important aspect of this issue is understanding the impact of sports on public consciousness. Athletes who support aggression can become tools of propaganda, influencing people's thoughts and moods. The publication of such lists helps Ukrainian society to realize who supports military actions and which individuals should be avoided in the context of ongoing events in Ukraine.
