According to Espreso.tv: The Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense has released footage of a special operation conducted by the 'Artan' unit in the settlement of Stepnohirsk, where Ukrainian forces neutralized a group of Russian reconnaissance troops without suffering any casualties. The operation took place in late May 2026, amid intense combat activity in the area.

Stepnohirsk, located in the Zaporizhzhia region, was the target of an assault by Russian 'VDV' reconnaissance units. However, according to Viktor Torkotiuk,

'our pre-planned course of action and preemptive intelligence work eliminated the element of surprise.'
